I’M STILL HERE, GUYS!
Let me just say, I’m currently working on a little February recap because WHERE HAVE I BEEN, right? Along with a few shows and some fun little side projects in the works, I’ve honestly just been really tired and this Chicago weather is so sad and depressing – literally 50 shades of grey (clouds). I obviously still made time for tunes, but that’s why I’ve not been posting as much – just straight up exhausted! So in the meantime, let me share with you just a lil sum’n sum’n.
TEI SHI SHARES ANOTHER TRACK FROM UPCOMING CRAWL SPACE LP
I absolutely HAVE to kick things off with Tei Shi’s new song from her debut LP Crawl Space which drops next month. I feel like just a second ago I was writing about her video for “Keep Running” – which quickly became one of my favorites from her, and was a very satisfying return after being out of my life for a bit.
Well about 24 hours ago I was blessed with “How Far”.
That synth on this track literally hit me like a ton of bricks, and the contrast of her falsetto against such a heavy bassline is just the best thing I’ve ever heard.
It pleases you to say you’re sorry when you’re not
It’s a dangerous slip of the tongue
If it pleases you to see me strugglin’ I will … talk of the things that I hate in myself
I don’t know if there will be a better song than this on the album, but I am ready to find out. You can pre-order Crawl Space now before it’s March 31st release, and also catch her live on select tour dates next month supporting MØ!

With that said, I’ll be getting back on track very soon! Here’s what’s to come:

Stay tuned!
