UK Producer Mura Masa Hits The Road With Deb Never For Upcoming U.S. Tour

This April, you can catch multi-talented, multi-instrumentalist Alex Crossan (better known as Mura Masa) on his upcoming Spring tour. The exclusive, 12-date “RYC U.S. Tour” hits limited cities over the course of a few weeks, and supporting act Deb Never was just added to the bill. This is how you get your money’s worth, people! With the 23-year-old musician being no stranger to incredibly unique collaborations (think artists like Charli XCX, ASAP Rocky, Damon Albarn, NAO and more) who knows – will we get a new joint effort live during the tour? Guess you’ll have to go to find out!

Just from my personal experience, I would highly suggest catching this tour, because this guy’s show was easily one of my faaaavorite sets of 2017 (during Red Bull Sound Select’s 30 Days In Chicago series) and also during North Coast Music Festival in 2018.

Like, it’s no stranger that each song typically features a supporting artist – but we need to talk about singer Fliss holding it down and handling ALL the live vocals and features during those sets. There was so much additional energy brought to each track by having an artist live on stage (as opposed to just on the track), and this detail made each song that much better.  An incredible producer and tireless musician (bouncing from instrument to instrument), Mura Masa is seriously one to watch keep watching.

I’ve also been lucky enough to catch L.A. singer and musician Deb Never, most recently opening for Tommy Genesis at Beat Kitchen. From the moment she took the stage, her reserved and humble nature literally immediately captured our attention as her sincerity and vulnerability filled the entire room. Not to mention the incredibly entrancing guitar proficiently that was displayed, this performance was so likable and honestly every song stood out as a special moment.

With that said, the pair (and possibly more) will be stopping by Chicago’s Riviera Theatre on April 29, 2020, with doors opening at 7 and tickets just $28 a pop here. Peep some music from both artists here, and let me know what ya think!
