Peep the brand new video for Tommy Genesis’ latest track “100 Bad”, which recently popped up in an episode of HBO’s “Insecure” (so you know it’s hot). Along with that, Genesis and Charli XCX teamed up on a remix of the song which was released shortly after.
The mysterious Swedish-Tamil rapper (who directs her own videos) is shown throughout the music video writhing in a pile of pink-packaged tampons, snuggling with bulldog pups, and smearing what can only assume is “blood” onto a glass wall. I mean, that’s what girls do, right?
The vibe on the Charlie Heat-produced track is definitely lit, and reminds me of their previous collaboration on “Tommy” with the heavy bassline and abrasive lyrics. Love the stuttering “hunned bad” outro at the end of the track, and the looped visuals on that end scene with the champagne are everything!
“The outro is a champagne ejaculation and it’s supposed to make you uncomfortable-it’s a commentary on the male gaze.”

Genesis then shared a Charli XCX remix of the record shortly after, which lets Charli put her party-girl take on the song. Loving the echo effect on Charli’s verse and you should definitely give this remix a listen – their voices sound great on the same track. Listen below!
