Happy Tuesday! Here’s a quick little update of some long-awaited album releases, live shows you have to catch, and some really incredible new music videos. I have been basically rotating the same 3-4 albums over the past couple of months so here’s where I’m at; I’m open to any and all suggestions!

We’re already two weeks post-Lollapalooza, I just wrapped up my Riot Fest articles for Chicago Innerview Magazine, randomly won passes to the upcoming North Coast Music Festival – and somewhere in there celebrated my birthday! So I’m dead-ass tired but I managed to get some Lollapalooza updates added to the videos page this week, featuring Travis Scott and Dua Lipa! Check it out here! More to come soon <3
If you couldn’t already tell from my unplanned hiatus, summer is a very busy time for me as I’ve been a contributing writer for Chicago Innerview’s magazine and website for the past two festival seasons. This includes writing for Pitchfork, Lollapalooza, and Riot Fest both online as well as for the physical copies available in coffee shops and venues around Chicago. Some way, somehow I was offered the full Lollapalooza festival recap on their home page, in addition to having 6 articles this time around in the magazine on artists like Hippie Sabotage, The Weeknd, Lizzo, and Playboi Carti.

In case you had no idea how long Tinashe has been throwing out bangers, you need to go way back in time and listen to all of her previous work. Her music catalog is way more expansive than the credit she receives for her mainstream projects, and I want to share 2013’s Black Water mixtape with you – which features one of my absolute favorite Tinashe tracks of all time (that you may not have even heard of before).
