Atlanta’s annual Music Midtown Festival is almost here – can you believe it? In just six days I’ll be in the presence of a few familiar faces, and some that are actually new to me. This marks the first time I’m getting to see both Lizzo and Cardi B, but also the 5th time seeing Travis Scott across the span of just a year. Naturally, I put together a playlist to highlight some acts that I’m looking forward to seeing this upcoming weekend!

Vans House Parties are back this Summer, with Vince Staples kicking off the first night of the FREE series this Friday, May 31 with Vonnie D and Bas! Staples literally just played Riviera Theatre back in March, so if you missed out on that – hopefully you can make this show! If you’ve never been to House of Vans, these events are a MUST.

This marks the first major release since her 2017 standalone single “Underdog” and 2016’s The Altar. The new song honestly comes as a complete shock, as the R&B singer is notorious for keeping her forthcoming projects under wraps until they are essentially released.
