I’m not even going to pretend I’m not REALLY excited about this upcoming DJ set. Wasn’t crazy about the last two albums, but nonetheless interested to hear what kind of tunes Alexis & Derek are into.
First can we talk about how long ago the iconic Treats album was? My footage from that tour is literally on the lowest quality 480p camera phone from my college days.
These are not filters or effects – just basic bitch phone quality!
There’s been a ton of new Sleigh Bells news in the past few weeks: new album / release date, shows, and then this video JUST dropped a few days ago:
To be honest, no album will ever be better than Treats (Reign of Terror in a not-that-close second place) but I am hoping they’ll play even more new material at the show Friday coming hot off of their set at North Coast Music Festival. In any regard – I wasn’t going to miss this because $10 is a hot ticket!
