BECAUSE GAGA KILLED IT
I don’t think there’s any explanation necessary.
To quickly recap and get to the point, Weekend One of Coachella wrapped up last Saturday’s festivities with Lady Gaga closing out the night. My actual weekend plans consisted of catching the livestreams of artists like Kaytranada, Mura Masa, Banks, Kendrick Lamar, and obviously: GAGA.
Her 90-minute set kicked off at 11:30 PST – so ya girl was up at 1:30 in the morning just to watch this live. There’s no way in h-e-double hockey sticks I would miss this for anything!
The vibe was super reminiscent of The Monster Ball, complete with original choreography, fashion interludes, and of course: THE BOOTS. If you’re not familiar with these boots – sorry bout itttt! Basically if she’s wearing these boots – you can expect Gaga in her most powerful form and there will be a LOT of dancing.
It was very classic, iconic Gaga and she knew exactly what we wanted. We got nods to Born This Way Ball, we got a new wig with a center part, and we got all of our favorite hits from the past, present, and … future?
I say future because this troll angel had the nerve to debut a brand new song – live. (Mind you, I’m in my PJs at about 2:30 am at this point, and have to wake up for work at 6:00 am.) GAGA, THIS IS NOT THE TIME!

Luckily for my health and well-being, the single was released for purchase almost immediately after the show. I can’t even remember the last time purchased a single – maybe a CD single?
Anyway, I’ve completely worn this track out on the daily, and if the tea is true – this rumored new EP is about to be the soundtrack for Summer ’17.
