Red Bull Sound Select’s exclusive #30daysinchicago circuit continued this month, with Alice Glass performing over at Subterranean along with opening support from artists Nolife and Vail. What felt like a very diverse room of individuals and music-lovers, brought a ton of energy to the event and that vibe definitely carried throughout the entire night.

As expected, Red Bull Sound Select created a really interesting and interactive atmosphere to accompany the show. I was greeted with drink tokens, signed up for a free tarot card reading, and maneuvered the dimly lit lounge with my Alice Glass-inspired beverage. This was my first time at Subterranean and I can’t say that I’ve ever entered a venue like this. Three functioning social areas amongst the three floors of the bar. Absolutely insane, yet optimum viewing and drink access from virtually any part of the joint.
Opening acts Vail and Nolife were perfect for setting the mood, and headliner Alice Glass started her set with amazing energy. Not one to back down, Glass did not shy away from an assortment of popular Crystal Castles hits along with music from her debut self-titled record Alice Glass.
