12 months after the success of 2017’s Take Me Apart project, R&B siren Kelela just shared new versions of her singles “Waitin” and “LMK”. Canadian producer and DJ Kaytranada put his take on “Waitin”, while LMK has a new sound and additional support from Princess Nokia, Cupcakke, Junglepussy, and Ms Boogie.

We’re already two weeks post-Lollapalooza, I just wrapped up my Riot Fest articles for Chicago Innerview Magazine, randomly won passes to the upcoming North Coast Music Festival – and somewhere in there celebrated my birthday!Ā So I’m dead-ass tired but I managed to get some Lollapalooza updates added to the videos page this week, featuring Travis Scott and Dua Lipa! If you couldn’t already tell from my unplanned hiatus, summer is a very busy time for me as I’ve been a contributing writer for Chicago Innerview’s magazine and website for the past two festival seasons. This includes writing for Pitchfork, Lollapalooza, and Riot Fest both online as well as for the physical copies available in coffee shops and venues around Chicago. Some way, somehow I was offered the full Lollapalooza festival recap on their home page, in addition to having 6 articles this time around in the magazine on artists like Hippie Sabotage, The Weeknd, Lizzo, and Playboi Carti.
