Tinashe’s new track “Faded Love” is the 2nd single from forthcoming sophomore LP Joyride, which showcases another hot feature, this one from Future. After sharing a poll on Instagram last week, she let her followers decide what song she’d release as the next single.
The moody track is classic Tinashe, and has a more futuristic vibe that longtime listeners will recognize. Maybe that’s because the song literally has Future on the track, in a much more subtle approach that one may be anticipating. Although this Isn’t their first time working together (the two collaborated in the past for the track “How Many Times” on Tinashe’s debut LP Aquarius), it has a very fresh sound that is very likable. Tinashe partnered with Genius again and talked about the inspiration and how the track came together:
I love that she’s releasing rapid-fire videos, because she always kills it every time. The choreo queen is back at it again this time around and doesn’t disappoint at all. As a pretty big Tinashe supporter, I know that her fanbase loves when she just dances her ass off start to finish. And that’s exactly what she does in this video.
