Calling All – This caught me completely off guard, as I did not anticipate the album closing out on such an up-tempo note. Super feisty with just a tinge of vocal distortion, the chorus kinda has that repetitive-chant effect that I loved from tracks like “Black Out Days”. This has already become my “getting ready to go out” song of choice with lyrics that are perfect for when you’re doing your makeup for the night. “Calling all the call girls, lookin’ fresh and pretty. We gon’ wear the night out, ’til our hands and nose bleed.”
More importantly, this post now makes sense:
When it comes down to it, every song is at a 100 so I don’t even know why I chose to discuss my “highlights”. This band alone is a highlight in the music industry and this record is just another addition to their rock-solid discography.
I will always purchase their physical records. I will happily pay for digital downloads. I will always catch every tour stop through my city. They give so much to me and don’t even know it and I love being able to reciprocate the love right back. Good people making good music is hard to find and Three let’s me know that even through grief, they’ll never leave me – or evolve into anything other than the best versions of themselves.
Buy it here, you won’t regret it!
