I know, I know: I mention Kaytranada like every single day, but it’s not my fault he’s so damn cool! My favorite track “You’re The One”, from his album 99.9%, has a video now, which he said was loosely based on the iconic black sitcoms of the 90’s (Living Single, A Different World, and Martin). The song features some svelte vocals from The Internet’s Syd Tha Kid.
Well, to say that I’m speechless is an understatement, because I actually just stumbled across this track on accident. HOW DID I NOT KNOW ABOUT THIS NEW MAJID JORDAN SONG?!

Three days late is late as HELL but better late than never. This new track was streamed during Episode 30 of OVO Sound Radio and I’m hoping they perform it at the show!! I don’t have anything to say or explain about Majid Jordan other than “YES” and “IT’S PERFECT”. Consistency and quality is key!

That new Solange album is EVERYTHING! I had never really listened to her before, but I’m so glad a friend put me on to this. It’s so refreshing, reminiscent of early 2000s Teedra Moses. “Cranes in the Sky” and “Don’t Wish Me Well” are on heavy rotation!
