Aussie producer Flume dropped some new tracks, R&B cutie Kehlani released a throwback-style video for a hot new jam, and there were a ton of good live performances over the past week or so.
In case you’ve been out of the loop, The xx are back with new music, and most recently graced New York’s Saturday Night Live stage with 2 absolutely PERFECT performances of both “On Hold” as well as the then-unheard-of “I Dare You”. It’s so good to see them all together again and looking just so happy to be jamming out. I’m actually looking forward to this album and hopefully US tour!
Whatcha think?
Fresh off of his 8-category sweep at this week’s Aria Awards, Flume just released the Skin Companion EP on Thursday, which includes a few additional tracks and reworkings – some of which have been teased in several live sets.
The 4-track EP is available for purchase/download, but with the only phys version being released on vinyl. But because he’s awesome, Flume went ahead and just posted the songs on his official YT along with more original Jonathan Zawada artwork and visuals – take a listen!

My mother favorite woman showed up to the 2016 American Music Awards like a satin angel, dressed in the most accurately-tailored Brandon Maxwell suit ever.
Catching The Weeknd was a bonus, but the only reason I tuned in to the show was to see miss Gaga blow me away – which she did. On a stage set up to resemble her California home’s backyard where she rehearses, she did an amazing acoustic rendition of “Million Reasons” that obviously make my eyeballs leak. I immediately recognized the set-up from the moment the song started and was already in a fragile state.

She does no wrong in my book. (Literally) a stellar performance.
