This week’s #majidmonday feature:
You absolutely MUST listen to this original 20-minute Soundcloud mix by my boys Majid Jordan – with chill grooves reminiscent of the vibe of 2013’s Afterhours EP.
I love this mix so much and it’s fully equipped with all of the wavy transitions we’ve come to love from their now fully evolved live shows. Some highlights for me include a really smooth instrumental re-work of their track “Forever”, which seamlessly transitions into a remix of “All I Do” – both from 2014’s A Place Like This EP.
PLUS – don’t blink or you’ll miss it: at about 9:45 I definitely hear what clearly sounds like an early inspiration for 2016’s “My Love” (hear it?) And at 14:45 that is DEFINITELY the introductory beat to “Small Talk”!
