In just weeks, Gorillaz will be releasing their first studio album in six years.
The 14-track Humanz is set to be released next month!
Humanz will feature brand new material with features from artists like Vince Staples, Popcaan, Grace Jones, D.R.A.M., and Kelela – just to name a few. Visuals to support their first 4 singles have already been released – and every song so far is a HIT.

I already like anything that has to do with outer space, and so the clip for the song “Andromeda” really supports the light, airy atmosphere of the track. Vince Staples on “Ascension” is also a favorite of mine so far, with his usual high-energy approach to his rhymes.
The lyrics are really good and if these are just a taste of what to expect on the rest of the record, I’ve got really high expectations that I’m sure will easily be met.

Additional collaborations include the likes of Kali Uchis, Pusha T, De La Soul, and more. The band even had a few of these acts support their recent London performance of the album in it’s entirety.
The new record is officially out on April 28, with the option of the extended version which contains an additional 5 tracks.
