Fresh off the heels of a brand new video for last month’s single “5 in the Morning”, UK’s queen of partying Charli XCX hit us with a two-for-one special and shared the A.G. Cook- and Sophie-produced dance tracks “Focus” and “No Angel” – both released this past Friday.
Charli has once again released just a shit-ton of music, and I am always here for her notion of consistently dropping singles outside of an official full length album. I feel like not only does she have a bunch of material on deck anyway, but this keeps her relevant and keeps listeners fulfilled in between albums. “Focus” might be one of my favorite recent tracks of hers, and it could easily slide into Pop 2 right after “Femmebot” or “Unlock It”.
