During my post-show Yelle YouTube binge, I managed to stumble across music videos for so many of the songs I loved hearing at the concert. For some reason this one really stood out.

Two weeks ago, I was front and (kinda) center witnessing INTERNATIONAL French superstar Yelle at Chicago’s Empty Bottle. To be quite honest, I hadn’t even actively listened to her tunes in several years but was invited by a friend and of course, I obliged. LET ME TELL YOU: Looking back, if I had not gone to this show I would have regretted that decision for possibly the rest of my life (okay well, for the next few years at least).

Part of her new visual album Double Dutchess, Fergie’s video for the singe “Enchanté” features vocal samples from her very own son, and stars model Kendall Jenner who flawlessly lip-syncs the entire song while being extra cute.

Finally getting to share some clips from singer Tei Shi’s show last Saturday at Schubas Tavern! Obviously the show was amazing from start to finish, including opening act Dizzy. She looked amazing, started the set with my favorite track, and performed the best assortment of songs from all 3 of her releases.

The throwback-tinged, house-party banger “You Already Know” is the second single to drop from singer-songwriter Fergie’s upcoming record Double Dutchess: Seeing Double (which is slated for release later this month). The track includes support from rapper Nicki Minaj, and the video features black-and-white, high-contrast imagery that is just striking enough to catch your attention, but not too much to take away from the song.
