The Altar – this year’s follow up to 2014’s Goddess – is a true emotional roller coaster – in the best way possible. Still dark. Still emotional. Still raw. What used to be conveyed with a whisper is now a shout – and she’s being blatantly honest about the psychological tirade that comes with simply being a woman with a broken heart.

The Starboy himself is going on tour, Sleigh Bells is streaming their new LP a week ahead of it’s release, and Tinashe is dropping an album TONIGHT that isn’t Joyride – HUH??

On Friday night, after a long shift, I was able to pull a last-minute gig and catch one of my favorite artists I recently started listening to! Everything fell into place (from the weather to my outfit) and a casual post-work evening turned into another memorable night on the rooftop of my favorite chill spot.

In case you missed it, Lady Gaga was featured as a guest on The Late Late Show last night, and was slated to ride shotgun along-side host James Corden during the infamous “Carpool Karaoke” segment. Nothing better than booking an artist that can actually sing, right?
