Sleigh Bells is back in Chicago this week with a show at The Metro on Wednesday night, with opening support from Sunflower Bean. I’ve managed to catch almost every Sleigh Bells show here, and it’s definitely one you won’t want to miss.

I love live shows and listening to music.
My Instagram was overflowing with concert footage, so I decided to share my thoughts and experiences with you here as an extension of that!
Tinashe Kachingwe – singer, songwriter, dancer, producer, and queen off all-round secrecy – just pulled me out of my seasonal depression by not only releasing a brand new track, but delivered a music video the very next day for her single “No Drama”. The song features Migos’ Offset, has a chill trap vibe, and is presumably a cut from her forthcoming, soon-to-be officially announced new record: Joyride.

Leave a CommentLast month I was able to once more enjoy my React Presents perks, and finally get to see RL Grime live at Aragon Ballroom. Not to categorize the genre, but I this was my 1st EDM-specific show that I’ve attended and it was LIT! The venue was massive, the crowd was nothing like I anticipated (in the best way), and my stupid knee brace was not going to stop me from catching The Nova Tour.

Leave a CommentThe first of my 2 Red Bull Sound Select shows last week, I took myself out on a much-needed date and went to check out someone I’d been DYING to see: Mura Masa! I missed him during Lollapalooza this year, so I’m glad I got a second chance to experience his show at Concord Music Hall (even if it meant squeezing three concerts into three days *shrug*). At $15, this was seriously a bargain and easily one of the best shows I have seen this year.
Leave a CommentRed Bull Sound Select’s exclusive #30daysinchicago circuit continued this month, with Alice Glass performing over at Subterranean along with opening support from artists Nolife and Vail. What felt like a very diverse room of individuals and music-lovers, brought a ton of energy to the event and that vibe definitely carried throughout the entire night.
