Needless to say – when I awakened from my slumber I was no less than shocked, appalled, and in (positive) disbelief at what I saw:
So…we’re only halfway into this festival and let’s be serious – Friday’s lineup is RIDICULOUS. The soundtrack to my birthday could not be curated by a better assortment of artists. I am SHOOK.
I can’t believe that on my actual 31st, I’ll get to see Little Dragon, Majid Jordan, Crystal Castles, The Killers, Blink-182, and Phantogram. I’ll be seeing some of these acts for the 2nd, 3rd, and even 10th time in Phantogram’s case. Crystal Castles was possibly my favorite live show last year, and I already know their set is going to be outrageous in a festival setting.
I can’t lie though, I am also pretty excited to experience some serious nostalgia with The Killers and Blink-182 (Enema of the State was the 1st CD I ever bought at 12 years old). Teenage me is kinda losing it here. I’m going to finally see both Travis Barker and Brandon Flowers with my own eyes…
